Rui Azevedo, Lda. invested in an internal laboratory of quality control, acquiring equipments of high technology, to perform tests and trials to the pieces, answering to any requirement of the Customer.
Our Integrated Quality, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety Management System is certified by ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. In the sense of continuous improvement, we have started the implementation of the IATF 16949:2016 standard, to even more consistently meet the requirements and expectations of the Customer.
The Quality Department and Management are strongly committed to ensuring that products and processes strictly comply with all quality standards. Our ultimate goal: To produce with zero defects. To this end, the quality team ensures daily product inspections in the course of production.
Daily the following techniques are used to support the advanced quality planning: APQP, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, R&R, 5S, Process capability studies.
Rui Azevedo, Lda. has a modern metrology laboratory equipped with the latest technology in equipment for dimensional control, color control and gloss control, as well as for resistance and adherence tests, hardness measurement and temperature tests, which supports our quality assurance system.

The imaging spectrocolorimeter was developed with the goal of making reliable color comparisons for materials and products whenever color control is important. It can improve color quality in cases where the requirements are too high to rely on visual evaluation alone.
It is a more accurate and reliable instrument than basic colorimeters and takes away the uncertainties that arise when using color samples as a standard for color comparison. An important instrument in the high quality standard of Rui Azevedo, Lda.
The Brilhómetro allows to measure the brightness of the surface of a piece, a painting or a print in angles of 20, 60 and 85 º.
Rui Azevedo, Lda. bet on a technology of brightness measurement for any type of surface, even very small areas, including curved surfaces, in order to respond to any challenge or project of the Customer.
With a millimeter measurement aperture and the ability to generate simultaneous SPIN/SPEX measurements, it is the most competent and flexible instrument for making quick color measurements and comparing accuracy with Standards or Masters. This color measurement equipment replaces error-prone visual color evaluation or in uncontrolled lighting conditions.
You can accurately measure reflective or uneven surfaces in all kinds of finishes. Accurate colors on complex materials, plastic or metallic parts are crucial, especially in the automotive industry or for proprietary brands with unique color formulations or color combinations.
